JIVE is the Principal Investigator of the PRIDE experiment of the ESA's flagship mission Juice.

PRIDE stands for Planetary Radio Interferometry and Doppler Experiment. It is a ground-based segment of planetary missions to enhance their scientific outcomes. More information on Duev et al 2016 and 2012, and Bocanegra et al 2018. Furthermore, JIVE Research Notes are available on the VLBI observations of the Huygens probe during its descent on Titan in 2005.

JIVE has been involved in the Space VLBI projects VSOP and RadioAstron. In particular, JIVE has acted as the Principal Investigator for the Space VLBI/European VLBI Network ground tests and was involved in the VSOP Surveys.
