The past two weeks witnessed the occurrence of three significant scientific events. Agnieszka Słowikowska was invited to attend in her capacity as the director of JIVE. A brief look at these events:

The "2nd ESFRI Stakeholders Forum Meetup" at the Auditorio de Tenerife "Adán Martín" lasted for one day (27 Sep) and placed the focus on three key areas: funding, access, industry and interaction with technology infrastructures.

The conference on "Global Dimension and Sustainability of Research Infrastructures" at the Institute of Astrophysics of the Canary Islands in Tenerife (25-26 Sep).

The conference aimed to address sustainability challenges for European research infrastructures. It was organized by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and had a specific focus on Latin America.

We are delighted to have JIVE mentioned among the "examples of excellent cooperation with partners from other regions of the world" by Ana Arana Antelo, Senior advisor for Research Careers, DG Research and Innovation, European Commission.

Together with Izabela Rottmann, Project Manager at Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy in Bonn, Agnieszka Słowikowska presented the roll-up banner featuring the RadioNet collaboration and its research infrastructures, which Izabela Rottmann had prepared.

The two-day workshop titled "M2FINDERS and Beyond: Magnetic Fields around Black Holes", which was organised by the Max-Planck-Institut für Radioastronomie and concluded on Friday 22 September in Ringberg Castle, Bonn.

The event aimed to bring together members of the M2FINDERS project at the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy, as well as external collaborators and experts, to discuss the latest developments and challenges in the field of VLBI science related to magnetic fields in the vicinity of black holes.

This focus resonates, of course, with JIVE, which serves as the home to the European VLBI Network data processor and provides support for users before, during and after observations of a radio source with the EVN.

Agnieszka Słowikowska received an invitation to participate in this notable event from Prof. Anton Zensus, the director of the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy and principal investigator of the M2FINDERS team.
